  • ituBNB — AI-Assisted Hotel Booking Platform

    Hotel reservation platform built with a team of eight, which I led. I designed the backend architecture, endpoints, authentication and the Gemini API integration, including a natural-language property search that turns an unstructured query into structured filters — removing the need to set filters by hand.

  • MedAR — AI-Powered Medical Education Platform

    A patient-specific augmented reality training platform, built to close the gap between flat radiological images and the three-dimensional anatomy they represent. I designed a three-tier Flask REST API handling authentication, file processing and a medical-imaging segmentation pipeline, feeding a Unity mobile client. Inference runs against either Google Gemini in the cloud or a local Ollama fallback, so it still works offline and privately.

  • Footy — Footballer Tracking Web Application

    A web application for footballers to track and analyse their own performance. It scores strengths and weaknesses from match data, and layers role-based authentication, statistical report generation and automatic training-programme generation on top.

Hi, I am Berkay Emre Keskin. I am a computer engineer recently graduated (class 2026) from Istanbul Technical University with high honors (GPA of 3.54). I did my internships at Aselsan and Yapi Kredi Teknoloji. I am currently a software engineering intern @Yapi Kredi Teknoloji. I enjoy playing football, watching movies and designing 2D and 3D characters. I also want to play guitar one day. My favourite song is PPP from Beach House for a while.     • Developed a full-stack internal data management application (Java Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, React.js) with multiple microservices across several core data domains.
    • Wrote unit tests with Mockito and JUnit 5, reaching 90–95% coverage per service.
    • Built a Kafka consumer for event-driven data processing, and wrote task-specific SQL queries against enterprise datasets.
